How to Create Ordinals Wallet?
Do you want to buy BRC-20 tokens or just want to interact with ordinals protocol? You need to create ordinals wallet before.
Ordinals is a new protocol in the Bitcoin ecosystem that allows you to create your own tokens like USDC or USDT on the Bitcoin blockchain. These tokens could be fungible (like Bitcoin) or non-fungible (NFTs).
To use the Ordinals protocol, you need to have an Ordinals wallet. In this guide, we will go through the process of creating an Ordinals wallet.
What is Ordinals Wallet?
Ordinals wallet is actually use to interact with Ordinals protocol. With an Ordinals wallet, you can view your balance, send and receive Bitcoin and BRC-20 tokens, and manage your transaction history. The wallet is only accessed through a web browser yet.
Note that the Ordinals wallet does not have any affiliation with the developers of the Ordinals protocol, nor with the team that introduced the concept of BRC-20 tokens. Ordinals wallet is separate project in the ecosystem of Ordinals.
Create Ordinals Wallet
Step 1: Visit Ordinals wallet homepage.
Step 2: Click Create wallet.

Step 3: Click Create new wallet.

Step 4: Create your password, confirm it and click Generate seed phrase.

Step 5: Copy your seed phrase and click Next.

Step 6: Click I understand.

Step 7: Now that you have your Ordinals wallet, you can start interacting with the protocol.
Copy your deposit address to add some Bitcoin to your wallet and get started with BRC-20 tokens. You can also receive BRC-20 tokens to this address.

Step 8: Scroll down further to see your wallet's history, any tokens (including NFTs), you have created, and any BRC-20 tokens you minted or purchased from Ordinals market.

To purchase BRC-20 tokens or NFTs on Ordinals, you need to visit the project's page, all projects are listed here.
On each project page, you can view the available tokens or NFTs for sale for that specific project.

Step 9: when you want to send bitcoin or BRC-20 tokens to someone, just click Send.

Enter your BTC address. Keep in mind that, currently, you cannot directly transfer BRC-20 tokens from wallet to wallet.
You can only send Bitcoin from Ordinals wallet to another Bitcoin wallet which supports TAPROOT BTC address. TAPROOT BTC address starts with bc1p.
At the moment, only a few exchanges support TAPROOTBTC address transactions.
Now enter the amount of Bitcoin you want to send and click Send.
